Getting there. Opening times
The outstanding engraver and the draughtsman, member of association «Four arts” A.I.Kravchenko (1889–1940) is much less known as the painter.
During soviet ages, being afraid of accusing in formalism, he was engaged in painting especially for himself, without showing it at exhibitions.
Different sides of artist’s talent will be shown on an example both traditional works from museum collections, and little-known – from family collection.
The glass negatives are also interesting.
Kravchenko made them on fronts of 1st world war where it was the photographer in a field army of general Brusilov.
