Match for the world title in chess between the present champion Viswanathan Anand (India, 2799) and the challenger Boris Gelfand (Israel, 2739) will be held on May 10-31, 2012. This duel promises to be one of the main and interesting events in sportive and cultural life in Moscow in 2012. For the first time in chess history match for the world title is taking place in the museum. The State Tretyakov Gallery will be waiting the visitors in the Engineering Wing on Lavrushinksy Lane, 12, nearby the main Gallery's building.
