The ‘Tretyakov Brothers’ restaurant/café has now opened in the Tretyakov Gallery.
The restaurant can be found in the historic XVIII-XIX century building leading into the architectural ensemble of Tretyakov galleries off Lavrushinsky Lane.
This building is also known as Petrov’s House, and was originally the north wing of an estate owned by the Shestovo family of merchants before it was incorporated into the Tretyakov family estate.
Now visitors can pop into the café for lunch while walking around Moscow, or take a break from walking around the main Gallery exhibitions and displays in the Engineering block.
The restaurant menu includes a wide selection of Russian and European dishes.
There is also a café for guests of the Tretyakov gallery in the lower vestibule where families or large groups often gather to share their views on the exhibitions.
