Temporary Rules
We are pleased to announce that the Tretyakov Gallery and its minor museums (the Viktor Vasnetsov House Museum and the Apollinary Vasnetsov Memorial Apartment) have been opened to visitors as of July 3 and are working according to temporary visiting rules. The Gallery provides regular full sanitary treatment of the premises, including the cloak room and storage rooms in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

You are encouraged to protect yourself and the museum visitors: you are kindly asked to have your temperature measured at the entrance to the museum using a non-contact procedure and to use personal protective equipment (masks/breathing equipment) in the rooms; keep a distance of 1.5–2 meters and follow the designated single directional route. We also ask you to leave antiseptic gels and sprays in a storage room.

You are welcome to plan your visit in advance: from July 3, visitors can enter the Tretyakov Gallery following a sessions schedule. Every session is at 30-minute intervals of entry to the museum; the recommended viewing time is 2 hours. The session system is also operational in the Viktor Vasnetsov House Museum and the Apollinarius Vasnetsov Memorial Apartment; the time for visiting the museums is up to 45 minutes.

Small groups only: the number of visitors in the rooms is limited. You can visit the permanent exhibitions and temporary exhibitions of the Tretyakov Gallery joining an organized excursion of no more than 15 people.

Stay online with the Tretyakov Gallery: mass events have been temporarily suspended in the museum. Please, join the museum events online.

Health is more important! If you feel unwell, your ticket can be returned online free of charge the day before your visit for a full refund of the cost of the ticket. If you have not passed the temperature control at the entrance, the date of the visit can be rescheduled and your ticket preserved.
